Squarepusherことトム・ジェンキンソンの弟である、アンドリューがパフォーマンスする“CEEPHAX ACID CREW”。98年にDmx Krew主宰Breakin’Recordsから”Radiotin EP”をリリース。その後もCEEPHAX名義での”Acid Quakers”、アルバム”Ceephax Acid Crew”等をリリース。どれもがTB-303/TR-808を駆使した、兄をも凌ぐ“狂気の”アシッドサウンドでありつつも、類まれなるメロディーセンスが感じ取れる。LIVEには絶叫マイクパフォーマンスは勿論の事、ハーモニカから拡声器まで登場する。2004年には初来日となる“SONAR SOUND TOKYO 2004”に出演。高速ドリルンベース～超アシッドテクノまで飛び出す凄まじいLIVEを披露し、フロアを狂乱させた。その後も来日を重ね、2010年にはアルバム”United Acid Emirates”を、2011年には初のLiveアルバム”Live”をそれぞれリリースした。

BIOGRAPHY

Since 1997, Ceephax Acid Crew aka Andy Jenkinson has explored the boundaries of acid and analogue machine music through releases on prime electronic labels such as Rephlex, Planet Mu, Breakin’ Records and 030303.
Jenkinson’s prolific output has yet to reach any stale. 2013 sees the light of the 14th full length Ceephax release. On the upcoming album “Cro Magnox”, Jenkinson explores his emotional sides and higher fidelity production skills, resulting in a sixties BBC and Moroder-esque faux original soundtrack in 15 parts. As of Ceephax Acid Crew live, no one can really know for sure what to expect, except for the heated circuits of Roland machines.
